These are good areas with B and C level housing whose pricing hasn't shot through the roof like east side SLC or northern Utah County. 

I live in Park City, but we do our work mostly in the Salt Lake and Utah County areas, btw.

In Utah, they already have a point system required to get your broker's license based on closed transactions.

Huyen Mai,I also got offer for my rental unit in SLC, Utah that has the same clause "At any time prior to the close of escrow, Buyer may unilaterally assign its right, title and interest in and to the Agreement without requiring acceptance or agreement of the Seller.".

If it's a conventional loan, you can't assume it but you can buy via a seller finance (in UT is via a trust deed and note, then you use an escrow company to do the payments).Go find out the loan details and find that right title company and you'll be off to the races!

He also recommended a structural engineer in Utah who worked remotely as well.Turned out really great.
