Here and Ready to Learn & Invest

Hi all,

I’m just getting started here. I’ve considered RE investing for some time but didn’t have the know how or the time (busy 9-5 job). I still don’t have the know how or the time, but I’ve decided to take the leap and learn from this group, figure it out, and to get started. Like many of you, I’m looking to transition from the corporate job to owning my own time and RE investing has been the most interesting of the opportunities researched to do that. I know I have a lot to learn so any tips on getting started, to doing the first deal, would be greatly appreciated. I’m open to what that might look like but from my early readings, multifamily homes continue to bubble to the top to scale. I’m not committed to that thinking, but wanted to share an early thought in the event anyone had feedback. If there is anyone in the Austin area willing to mentor a newbie, please reach out. I’m also interested in any meetups and willing to work on others deals to get the learnings.

Look forward to connecting.

Ryan
