I found a company for my letters and postcards for my Investor business.

At a minimum consider driving for dollars instead to build your list and factor in a lower response rate for your competitive market.Since you haven't started yet, here's protip #1 for DM:Always send your first batch FIRST-CLASS, postcard.

Hey everyone,So I just sent my first round of 500 post cards out 2 weeks ago and I have been flooded with calls!  

If my goal is to stick with 500 postcard for now should I have a very specific market I'm trying to hit? 

Hey Andy,We sent out "Fall-Backwards" postcards reminding prospects to turn back their clocks, and gave them helpful tips on preparing their homes for the winter (Like... getting their furnace serviced/cleaned, cleaning the gutters, changing batteries in smoke detectors, etc.).Also, be sure to offer a home seller's guide (I can't stress this enough).

I've never created and postcard or mailing letter with the intention to offer my services before.

I am very new to the business and we were just going to start a direct mail marketing campaign when I realized that I ordered a rather large amount of postcards, fractionally too small for USPS EDDM program.Now I have a huge glut of postcards with few option on what to do with.

Any type of life change would spark one of his list/buy with me post cards.
