We are both relatively successful in our respective careers and are really starting to consider what the best way to manage our resources is.Seeing how much money disappears each month in rent each month, we have started looking for our first home, believeing that it would be better to start to accrue equity then indefinitely continue to pay our landlord's mortgage.we have modest needs and do not want to allocate all of our budget into our own housing expenses so we have primarily been looking at small multifamily homes where we could live in one unit and collect rent on the others.
