Light colored countertops with clean, non veiny surfaces is very popular right now.I see some people throwing in Baltic Brown granite countertops from Home Depot ($30 square foot) and they think they can throw that into a high end renovation.

@Travis Raila yeah my buddy in Florida has built spec homes, owns a kitchen/bath renovation company and granite yard so he would be involved for sure.

Tenants usually don't place high value on granite countertops and tile floors.

B class are $60-80K, A class (granite countertops, great neighborhood, etc) run $100K-$140K.
