Hello All! Any like minds in smaller houses? In Austin the market is about to open up, exciting times. How does one get a good financing program for buyers?

Tiny homes and traditional trailers are made of different things. tiny homes are made of wood, granite, tile... RVs are made from plastic and cardboard. RVs are a lot lighter. Tiny houses are more solid. Tiny homes are made to live in 365 days/year for many years. RVs are made to live in for a week or so, maybe a few weeks per year. Currently tiny homes building is a lot more labor intensive because there arent factory lines for manufacturing. It's usually a few builders hand crafting each one. If youre looking for the cheapest way to live, its definitely not a tiny house. A used RV is much cheaper. Most people who are looking at tiny houses arent looking for the cheapest way to get shelter. They want a sustainable lifestyle that includes using fewer resources, in a home made of natural materials, often off-the-grid. Our website at wishomes.us had an essay about the advantages on tiny house living, if youre interested.
