I'm not sure what's going on in other cities, but I know around Western PA it still very much feels like a seller's market.

In Australia they have a term for neighborhoods like Candler Park, East Lake, Kirkwood --  they're "city suburbs,"  as opposed to the Western suburbs, and have urban city issues as well as suburban issues. 

One of their children gets sick from weather exposure and the family of undocumented migrants and their social activists high power lawyer and the local housing agency get an injunction against you to take everything you own.
