If you can't break the relationship between those two people....your bid is a waste of time.You might want to contact all the women who live alone and are at least 70 years old with lots of equity.

Continue to seek like-minded people and spend more time with those who empower you.I have a similar family and friend situation and I am now aware of how much control I have over their lives and decisions.  

You still have a lot of control because you are the one creating the options for them to choose from but they still feel empowered because they have a choice. 

I really like the first unit, I even talked to the tenant and the tenant is a middle age women living with her 3 daughters, and seemed very nice and personable to talk to.
