Experienced First Guru Event!!!

I just experience my first guru event and I am feeling very confused, complacent, and frustrated.  I went to this event with absolutely no intentions on signing up, because of what I learned from listening to the bigger pockets podcast.  I entered with a strong mind to see who is who, make some contacts, and jot down some notes.

I have to admit, these guys are good.  Even though I know what they were proposing was absolute garbage, make $115,000 your first flip and we have a classified lists of (R.E.O's), I was enticed and charmed like a snake and a flute.  By the end of the deal everyone was standing up and rushing to the back of the room with their credit cards out like Jesus himself was taking orders.  Needless to say, when I left I felt ever more confused about what the hell I am doing and how the hell I am going to do it.

I apologize for the rant, but I really don't expect this posts to go to far.  I just need to vent then hope back on the horse.

P.S.  If you have never been to one of these events DO NOT GO!!!

Thanks,

Robert B.
