Also I would talk with those that install systems they usually have a good feel for areas and maybe will do an onsite inspection.for me if just vacant land and all i need to do is dig a 3 foot hole to get soil samples I am going to just do that.

You must get a permit, drill holes in the bottom, demo the bondbeam down a foot or so, and then fill with compaction inspections along the way..... last time I checked it was about $10,000

Note: We do 50+ investment property loans a month and the most important thing I tell BUYERS of properties being sold as or soon to be STR is make sure you are paying the market price per square foot and do NOT buy based on income approach/CAP rate.

The end goal is to have a piece of land with multiple houses: one for my growing family but also a home for my mother in law.My mother in law has agreed to foot the money on a new property/land up front and when ready we can buy land from her to build/develop etc.
