Requirements for RV/Boat storage on a city lot

Michael Pons
Posted

I own a 4000 square-foot warehouse that has about 1/3 of an acre lot fenced in. I'm considering leasing out storage space for boats and RVs.  Zoning says that it is a repair service shop, excluding automobiles, any idea if leasing out storage space would be permitted?

Go in person to the planning department and talk to them. Don't rely on what anyone on BP is going to tell you, because things change. Besides, it's always a good idea to build a good relationship with the Planning and Building departments.
