Use that info to seek them out and ask for a mentorship or apprenticeship if you provide something of value in return. good luck.

Being a contractor is another thing that usually requires licensing and, in many places, requires a period of apprenticeship.  

Im happy to see investors interested in a so called "apprenticeship". 

I have an opportunity to take advantage of a program that will allow me to participate in an intership or apprenticeship in a career path I would like to pursue after I leave the military. 

The rei club here is pretty expensive, and I don't even think they do any kind of apprenticeship/mentoring.The partership thing sounds like a good idea too...

I tend to be a bit wordy with any story I tell, so bear with me as it is a long one.Fresh out of high school in 2006 I was fortunate enough to get started with my Carpenter apprenticeship in the Detroit local.

I don't know enough about the margins to advise you either which way, but maybe try to find a similar apprenticeship somewhere over here? 

I see mentorship and apprenticeships all over the internet and have been trying to decide if that's best for me, I definitely would love to have someone with experience I can look to for guidance and coaching but with all the programs online you can never tell what is a scam and what is legit.

Apprenticeship programs, job mentoring etc... is all on the rise as employers seek desperately to figure out how to get bodies up and running to fill positions to allow them to keep up and expand.Logic can't follow your hypothesis that lack of skilled workers due to education or anything else would lead to wage stagnation.

And I don't mean a chit chat over coffee I mean a practical apprenticeship.
