How do i go about getting a mentor?

Hey Guys,

I have been on BP for sometime now just soaking up all this great info. I am currently taking Real Estate classes here in PA and will be taking the exam around April. I would love to connect with local investors and other agents also. My main goal is to become a RE Investor. I have yet to check out the local REI clubs, but plan on doing so as soon as possible. My question is...... What is the best way to go about getting a Mentor?

If there are any RE Investors in the Pittsburgh, PA area that wouldn't mind showing me the ropes i would love to connect with you. Any advice would be helpful.

Thanks

@Moe Williams

I think your first step is trying to figure out what kind of investing you are most interested in pursuing.  Once you've done this, you can begin to look around for people who share that interest.  Talk to them about what they do, and ask them if they would like your help, or if they would mind letting you tag along as they do business so that you can learn.
