I think I may just walk away from this deal and actively look for deals while saving up more and obviously soaking up as much knowledge as possible. this property would have given me a $140/mo cashflow; however, that figure does not include vacancy, repairs, improvements, etc

I have been extremely interested in real estate and soaking up as much information as possible.

I am definitely exploring my possibilites just to soak in what market offers what.

Mostly going to be soaking up everything I can this coming year. 

I can name half a dozen ways to find and make deals just off the top of my currently beer in soaked brain.1:  I don't see anyone asking for seller financing right now. 

I'm also still weighed down by reasons why it's perhaps not the right time (e.g. two toddlers, little free time, etc.)... but somehow I'm still excited and hopeful.Happy to soak-in some insight and wisdom from you all.Luke

I'm looking to purchase my first STR property in the Yucca Valley area and I'm trying to soak up as much knowledge as I can.

I'm going to continue to work my full-time job that will supercharge my investing ability while soaking in all the knowledge from groups like BP and hopefully "retire" my parents so that they never have to worry about money again.
