I appreciate some hosts claiming they see the end of the tunnel, but I believe the industry is hurt for years, not just months, and hotels are better positioned to transit through this crisis than the unstable STR market composed of hosts with no reserve and not enough motivation to stay in this business.

That eliminates a lot of the talking, music, kid screaming noise.Another cheap option would be to buy a hallway runner carpet, and padding for under it and give it to your tenant.

Some people just don't want to be complainers, or they assume you know about the problem and choose not to do anything about it.I had a tenant who someone complained about for having friends over and they'd play acoustic music into the wee hours of the morning.
