However  luckily there are a couple border states which look interesting (  Vermont,-looks kinda promising , Massachusetts-which looks kinda bad too for laws, new Hampshire -  need to do research, and Connecticut. ( please chime in if you know about investing in these states)

If you want to buy a fixer upper in downtown Frederick, just be conscious of where the borders of the historic district as it can be a pain dealing with exterior renovations inside the historic district.

I know that in Eastlake (borders Willowick), if a property had a garage at one time, and it now doesn't, and the property has been vacant for over one year, you must build one.
