Also with the knowledge I received daily from Bigger pockets real estate & money podcast, Dave Ramsey I feel like we are in a better position to continue growth but I feel my vision is a little blurred right now!

Or.....I get where your coming from, and there is much value ALTHOUGH it's yet another over-simplification using strategy specific tunnel vision. 

Man I really have these grand visions of redeveloping that Broadway area.

It is a matter of what works best for you and fits your vision.

However, she doesn't quite see my vision and isn't familiar with alot of the revitalization happening in houston.

If you don't desire to travel that path, find an investor-friendly agent that you vibe with, who understands your tolerance, your vision, etc.

I would also take some kind of political classes...as lots of development has to do with how well you fit into the vision of what the politicians want to see done for their city.   

I wish I had a clearer vision on if I wanted to rent or only flip when purchasing the home.
