Per room self managing to hiring a property manager?

I'm in Atlanta GA and would like to hear from fellow house hackers, after moving out, how did you manage your rentals? Were you able to hire a property manager or did you continue self managing?

How were you able to scale?

All answers are welcomed, not just Georgia, thank you.

@Wendy S. One key thing you can do to manage from afar is to build your team. These people include your cleaner, handyman, house/yard maintenance team, etc. Make sure you're vetting these people and if you know someone in the area, have them check the work performed. Leverage your network. Also as Joe mentioned, there are softwares you can use to track things. However, I'm a big fan of having a security system. This allows you to track the work performed and who's going in and out of the property. Feel free to reach out and connect!
