(which may explain that it attracts only bad tenants)I understand that you may want to sell the property as it has been a nightmare for you - I sold an apartment once (at a slight profit) because of several bad experiences with it so I can understand you are getting emotional with this one.Also, make sure to have a framework about your investing strategy highlighting the type of properties you are looking after and a reputable local team in place.I have interviewed PM’s in the past and a few of them fell off the face of the earth.

I will first google earth the property as the images there are typically 1-3 years old and also check on the MLS for any recent listings for inside pictures.

Overestimated the value of the house, tried to squeeze money out of a rock, spent way too much on legal, got a really bad attorney vs the borrower's bloodthirsty scum of the earth BK attorney.. ideological zealot judge used a loophole to strip the note even though my appraiser with 25 yrs experience demonstrated there was equity.Ended up losing a lot of time and money and I would have sworn off buying more notes if not for NY's insanely slow legal system.

Add to that the fact that mountain geology is always changing - as the earth shifts the rock cracks in different ways, and wells can dry up in an instant as water finds a different seam with the new cracks.Best thing they can try to do first is fracture the existing well - sometimes you can open the seams up wider and that solves your problem.
