Hey BP folks, it's a slow holiday weekend in Baltimore, so figured I'd get on here to introduce myself.

In some jurisdictions, if the rent is due on the 1st of the month and the 1st of the month falls on a weekend or legal holiday, then the rent can't be considered late until the next business day.

After waiting another day, on Tuesday I was told that the repair would be made on Friday, 7/5....the July 4th holiday added to the delay.My tenants have been understanding. 

We're def in a down market...we always are during the holidays but we can never truly predict it.

If a holiday falls I the 1st I don't ding the people when it shows on the 2nd but in general it works well for me.

Holiday weekends in my area brings in many tourists as well and often times I can connect with those potential buyers when pairing the new listing with an open house.~ Lindsey

I'm from Des Moines living in Denver, Co but I'm going to be in Des Moines a few times over the next few months (Holidays) and I'd love to attend one of your meetings.  

Idk what it is, but I'm starting to normalize new years and other holidays as just a new week in the life lol.

Exceptions are on Monday holidays when data/reports are unavailable until the following day.
