The Journey of a Rookie

Hello Y'all,

I've been learning about real estate on and off since 2021. But like most people, haven't done much about it yet. I find myself always going into analysis paralysis, wanting to learn about everything before actually taking any action. And I would always tell myself, after this one, I'm going to start calling balabalaba... SO! I come up with the idea of documenting my actions here, one is to hold myself accountable, and two I want to see where I'll go from here (a lot of people now days do that on social media, like instagram, youtube...etc. But that's really not my cup of tea... well, maybe instagram but probably more of a marketing instead of documenting) , and third I want to share this with the biggerpocket community!

A little bit about me, I lived in a small town near the greater Boston area for the past 10 years and had just moved to O'ahu to pursue my Masters in Architecture, (but that's kind of on hold right now due to complication of the program...). But I was licensed in MA back in 2021, but wasn't serious and didn't want to go the traditional agent route, plus I was going to school. So yea. I just got licensed here in HI, and onboarded with a team in exp. SO hopefully that'll get me somewhere this time!

Hey @YuYing Chen

Glad to see you getting back to it and making a "public" declaration for accountability. So what's your next actionable step and when do you plan on having it done?

Remember, games aren't won from the sidelines...ya gotta play to win!
