To un-wind 40 and hopefully it'll be more like 50 or 60 homes, in one fell swoop probably won't happen in a way that would allow me to 1031 them all.To be honest though, I would have no problem paying the taxes.My bigger concern would be that I don't know commercial real estate and to let it all ride on one big investment would be a little scary - even for someone as aggressive as myself. :-)I just don't think I could risk all the effort we've put in to building this portfolio on one deal.
