I am curious as to the variety of answers that will be written and collected when one describes:  What was the book that "changed the set of your sail?"

I don't like what their teeth and claws and pee and poop do to my property doors, door jambs, walls, wood floors, vinyl, carpets, window blinds, flower beds (cat poop and scratching), and back yard (dog poop and digging).  

There's a wealth of invaluable information on the site as well as great folks to network with in a variety of areas.
