I have seen a lot of turnkey providers advertise properties in Memphis (I'm from Memphis, grew up there, have to go back frequently for family) with very misleading info. 

With the increase in extreme weather and that continuing to become more frequent and severe, is Florida still worth investing in?

You can inteview, but most people are going to tell you to go get your license I expect.Huge difference in residential and commercial.....probably smaller but more frequent payouts in residential....commercial you may be involved in much bigger deals....but they often take longer....could be you work on a deal for 2-3 years and get paid, or it falls apart...so you have to be prepared for that.   

Or are you looking to have a place to stay because you like to frequent the area?

I ask myself this rather frequently.

This costs way less than an eviction and it's frequently successful for me but if it doesn't work out you're all set up to evict.

I'm frequently able to re-rent with no break in between tenants.

The seller said one is frequently late but current, another I smelled her weed when we toured, and the third is a long time tenant that does some things around the property and gets a reduced rate.

I'm down there frequently and I looked at 3 properties yesterday.
