The goal is to create nice affordable living that members enjoy and take care of. 

But if I'm going somewhere with my wife for any length of time, I like the space afforded us by a vacation rental, the kitchen for cooking, a living room for spreading out.

Our elected leaders have the unique opportunity to not only help small businesses, keep industries working, combat inflationary pressures in the housing markets and at the same time make housing more affordable for millions of Americans.Several factors contribute to the tight housing market, each influencing the others in a cycle of cause and effect.

Here are a few innovative strategies that have been game-changers for my portfolio:- Co-Living Spaces: With affordability concerns rising, co-living setups are attracting young professionals and students.

You should start with a focus on a 2 unit multifamily property in a market that you can afford to get into. 

The last one, however, started with many people from two certain neighborhoods, gathered by a local non-profit, who spoke much about affordable housing, being displaced, etc.

That has driven a lot of DFW investors to our market but it's still relatively affordable for investors to get started here. 

For southern states, you might want to look at smaller markets in Alabama, Mississippi, or parts of Tennessee and Arkansas where properties are still affordable and cash flow potential exists.

If its a Class C I'd go for a more affordable unit, there's no point in putting in more money than you have to.
