The people here that have taken to the next level collaborate and are winning big.

Or as often happens there are folks that just have expectations that are not achievable.Nothing is inherently wrong with any of those folks above (except maybe the un-achievable expectation folks) but the staff needs to prioritize.

If crowdfunding/collaborating with investors doesn't work, starting small and working up to that large apartment is another path you might consider.

I prioritize repairs by some basic criteria, starting with issues that need immediate resolution because they either cause continuing damage (leaks) or could result in injury (mold, holes in the floor) or just make working on the property easier (plumbing and electrical systems).

While both have defined roles and responsibilities for all parties involved, a partnership is used for an ongoing relationship where you are in collaboration for multiples deals or a series of like transactions on an ongoing basis.

If you have desires to invest out of your own comfort zone, as long as you take the time to do a lot of due diligence prior, it will greatly reduce your exposure to the horror stories.
