I believe that any smart individual can be successful at virtually any level in Real Estate.

There's only so much one can grasp from virtual research, images, phone calls, etc. so to experience first-hand was very insightful.

Virtual deals are OK with us.

You can also hand this over to answering services or your staff or virtual assistant. 

On my own, I'll probably overlook a lot of things since I'm a newbie.So far, I virtually drove around the neighborhood on Google, looked at 3rd party real estate sites (Zillow, etc), and drove by three properties in the area.

Or did you hire a virtual assistant (whom you have never met in person) and select the best candidate?

Just to clarify there are three services an agent can perform that have been discussed. 1) put the property in the MLS for exposure to potential tenants. 2) Property management for the one time act of locating and placing a tenant in the property. 3) Property management for the ongoing monthly management of the property.Sometimes 1 and 2 are not separable but in some areas they are.With regards to listing the property in the MLS, here there are virtually no rentals in the MLS so no one hires an agent just to get the property in the MLS.

They're all going to require virtually the same thing.

Virtually nothing I sell meets code and have multiple violations and that has never been an issue.
