I am looking to expand my personal real estate portfolio to create enough passive income to slowly leave the brokerage aspect of real estate and solely dedicate my time to personal investing.

This tip doesn't answer your question, but my suggestion is calling, or stopping by, a dedicated flooring store and ask if they have and LVP closeouts or seconds.

What I would like to know, is if there is a forum that is just like this one, but is instead dedicated to investing in the market, like stocks, mutual funds, etc.

I think the longer I have been dedicated to it, the more accommodating my spouse has been with it.

Let me say this: all businesses, no matter the field, are difficult to build, the thing about wholesaling is that you it CAN turn your life around quicker than most other ventures (8-16 months) but you need to be dedicated, seriously. 

My main concern as a new investor is to obtain insight into local markets and would like to work with someone that is close to fully dedicated to find deals for buyers (buyer's agent). 

As you can suspect, I want to supplement this income with real estate investing, but the amount of time I have to dedicate is sparse.
