New Realtor - Glendale - Peoria - Phoenix - Arizona
Hello BP world!
My name is Shawn Vaughn. I live and work in the northwest valley of metro Phoenix, AZ. I am a brand new Realtor and I am VERY excited!
I am in the process of trying to transition out of my current 20 year career in home electronics retail. I've been a general manager for 12 of those years managing 200-300 people, in charge of 10 department heads and millions of dollars in inventory. I have traveled the country and experienced many markets for the company I work for. I've worked in 9 different stores in 6 different states. Phoenix, AZ - Tempe, AZ - Las Vegas, NV - Dallas, TX - Houston, TX - Chicago, IL - Atlanta, GA - Sacramento, CA, Los Angeles, CA.
Working in real estate as a Realtor has been a dream of mine and I've finally decided to take the steps. I have closed on no deals yet, but have some promising things happening fairly quickly. I realize finding and developing a network of industry leaders/developers/contractors etc is going to be the key to my success. I welcome the challenge.
My ultimate dream is to have my own brokerage. I was 25-50 agents working for me. My timeline for this in my mind is 10 years. My heart is telling me that finding and working with investor clients is not only going to be fruitful monetary, but also educationally. I too want to retire one day with passive income and know that finding my own investments will be a key to that end.
What I looking for short term are some investors that won't mind working with the new guy. Someone that can help me with some assignments to help me get my feet wet. For me, at the moment, it's not about the money. It's about the experience.
My commitment to anyone willing to step up to that challenge is my upmost honesty and devotion to anything I'm working with you on. I am a man of my word and I know the importance and effect of hard work and dedication. My personal moral compass is guided in this exact order: God, family, work, fun.
My apologies for the length of my post. I will close by saying thank you for reading and I look forward to a bright future with anyone willing to share it with me. I sincerely appreciate the BP format and intend to utilize and share what I learn here. Please reach out to me.
Thank you,
Shawn Vaughn
