We need to protect tenants from abusive landlords while ALSO protecting landlords from abusive tenants.

I just finished a 12 month lease with a bf/gf couple that were very nasty and abusive tenants to me (texts and emails).

Unbenowst to me, her previous landlord who she had a private relationship with....I think it was sexual in nature from what she claims... evicted her the week she began moving into our place for a small dollar amount.

I am sure they would lose in any court for abuse of power if they are sued on this.

What's amazing to me is that more landlords aren't ready to organize against this unacceptable abuse of our rights, other than this post you made i've seen a few random mentions here and there in different posts, but almost no landlords are standing up for their rights. 

From my perspective, if you show me a federal program, I'll show you a program that is rife with fraud, waste, abuse, nepotism and the like.
