Congresswoman Proposing Free Rent Nationwide, Government Takeover

Ilhan Omar a Democrat from Minnesota has proposed this bill that gives free rent without sufficient reimbursement to the housing provider.  It includes an attempt to take over privately owned apartments by the government.  This is a disastrous philosophy. If you agree, take action and contact your representatives to express your concerns.

I think either she is playing to her base, or it was misreported.  There is zero chance this would make it anywhere so there is no reason to get upset.
