@Christopher Vargas South up on Las Vegas Blvd has a lot of new development with many amenities near by: bus lines, shuttles, grocery stores, newer local casino with bowling, movies, restaurants.

I think putting a bullet train connecting Chicago to Milwaukee could have been a game changer, along with building that Casino in Kenosha which would have paid for the Bucks new Arena in Milwaukee... but that didn't happen :( But yeah, my post was more of a focus on Racine being a solid spot for companies to grow and manufacture.

I bought that bare land in 95 for 27k and sold in Jan for 1.9million to a developer.. its across the street from the Graton Casino.. it was unbuildable when I bought it that's why it was so cheap but Path of progress caught up to us..

Similar to the taxi lobby is making it difficult for Uber to operate near the casinos, the hotels are making it difficult for AirBnb to operate as well. lots of regulation (and changing), and increased costs.
