Stevens fails to uncover any current assets, but if the deeds that transferred any property into a trust can be found, it might be assumed (and investigated) that he is still the beneficiary of those trusts.Any thoughts or experience with this???

The list you're starting with is good, but, I'd possibly think about whats important to uncover and then decide what tool is needed to help you do that. 

I usually spend the first hour with new clients to discuss these questions and help them to uncover and refine their goals.

I did hire an engineer, and now that we are deep into the issue other structural issues have been uncovered, so we are looking at almost double the cost. 

I did a background check and uncovered a crime from 20 years ago, but that he did time 5 years ago due to failure-to-report.

But who knows unless it is uncovered. 

Went through an inspection and uncovered a lot of things that should have been updated but was not.
