The redevelopment there will likely start spreading across the Stapleton borders into Aurora, but those areas are still rough and might not be great for a young family.

Remember that your tenant still has other bills like car payments, cell phone, etc. to pay.Most of my problem tenant have been right on the border of the 3X income requirements.

Just know that in Chicago things can be radically different within the same neighborhood and neighborhoods don't have official borders so out of towners are fooled by listings that say they are in "logan Square" or something when they really are outside.You have to know the actual block a property is on.

This development is on the border of Madeira, and Sycamore Township (Kenwood) so it may be able to attract clientele who frequent or would want to live/operate in those areas in time, however the current residential make up in Silverton is significantly different.
