I don’t wish to sound negative but I’ve become jaded and would like hear something positive, read something selfless, see something that you did that positively effected someone in RE.Seriously, outside of this site have any of you (meaning any self described coach, mentor, or guru) done anything selfless?

Disclaimer: I'm in California so I may be jaded toward an appreciation market and using real estate as leverage rather than the idea of hoping for a couple hundred in cash flow each month...I've done better than that in more liquid markets (stocks).

I personally don't text random numbers as that's lazy and I think it starts a relationship off wrong...But maybe see these people reaching out as potential partners...real estate is small enough as it is.Joe keep in mind the folks commenting here know the score.. so of course they are going to be jaded and annoyed etc.thats not who wholesalers are targeting .. or any buyer for that matter..

Jade,I would say credit, if they can get financing.

Unfortunately land lording can make you jaded, but it's not worth the risk.

I might be jaded, but I've also gone to some of the worst schools in the country and seen the real thinking had by many in the ghetto.

Having lived and worked in Florida for 30+ years I'm a little jaded.
