Question for coach, mentor, or guru

Outside of this site how many of you self-described coaches/mentors/guru’s have actually helped someone (other than friends or family) buy or sell an investment property where there wasn’t something in it for you? Where you just helped someone for no reason or personal gain? Where you were not selling a book, blog, CD, video, your time, taking a commission/fee, etc, etc?

Has anyone? If you have I’d like you to share your story. I don’t wish to sound negative but I’ve become jaded and would like hear something positive, read something selfless, see something that you did that positively effected someone in RE.

Seriously, outside of this site have any of you (meaning any self described coach, mentor, or guru) done anything selfless?
