Someone might say there car is making a noise but until I start taking stuff apart I will speculate as to what the problem actually is.You can get a cheap decibel meter at Radio Shack or similar and hold the mic to the wall to see where it registers the loudest.

I don’t want to sit around and eat bon bons on the couch although it is getting tempting ha ha ha.

I have an apt bldg. challenge and looking for opinions from others, here is the scenario1) Back of property (6 unit multi) usually gets hit with neighborhood trash dumpers (mattresses, couches) once or twice a year, costing me between $500-$1000/yr in cleanup fees2) Primary goal, reduce maintenance costs.3) Secondary goal, improve the general look for the neighborhood4) I could spend thousands and still get hit b/c the neighborhood has built the habit of hitting my property over the years.Question: Would you build something up here in hopes of reducing the likelihood of dumping, or just keep cap cost down and hope for the best?

Ps I was couch surfing when I bought that building making 75k a year working two jobs.

Sloppy, messy, tenants lounging on the couch watching TV during normal work hours means red flag.

Also had some dump a mattress, couch and a bunch of crap in front of house on move-out which I had to pay to have hauled away - as a day after move out the cat 1 or 2 hurricane had changed paths and was on the way.

Airbnb started as a couch surfing site, but it is much more than that now.
