I'm looking on the Treasurer's Office for tax delinquent properties and notice that on the tax summary, some will have "see redemption statement" for those that are a few years delinquent and are owing a few thousand on back taxes.

I've been reading that the management of the HOA usually takes place when 51% of units are sold.How am I supposed to trust a bunch of strangers to make competent managers, treasurers, etc.? 

I also serve as the Treasurer of our union and one of the things that i am tasked with is oversight of the fund.

Maybe you should exhaust the other "means of protection" and get some serious equity in your treasure chest before getting fancy with asset protection entities?
