you will be loosing money every day.

We justified it because the full time worker was there every day most of the day, then my husband was there in the evenings most of the time. 

Just last week I read Rich Dad Poor Dad and every day since I have been downloading books and reading as much as possible.

PS - LOVE the Bigger Pockets podcasts, listen to them EVERYDAY!

Seeing that my father was able to work his dream job everyday because of the income provided by his renters has had me interested in real estate investing for quite some time now.Years ago, my uncle that now lives in Florida, let his younger brother live in his other house back home in PA. 

Hi Louis, I am a contractor working in Durham everyday.

Being in and out of houses all day, every day give you insight on market conditions and allows you to take a pretty solid guess at ARV before you even run the numbers.We still suffer some of the regular problems though - like finding contractors who will show up on time and stay on budget.I have contacted about a half dozen paving contractors to look at a job at my home.  4 never returned the calls, two showed up and promised estimates. 

I listen to BiggerPockets every day several times a day.
