I did sign up for the October 11th meetup here in Seattle, so as long as my return flight is not delayed to greatly, I will be there.

If you consider cities you can reach in a 2-hr flight from LA, you come up with places like Phoenix, Tucson, Albuquerque...where the cap rates are higher. 

The Airport finally added direct flights to New York and other major cities.  

I was actually just out your way in Denver a couple weeks ago, I was supposed to fly home and close on a property but got stuck in the airport when we got 18inches of snow dumped on us and all those flights go cancelled.

The icing on the cake was also how it's appreciating, it's potential and flights aren't too expensive out there from where I am.

We got intense about saving: COLA, hostile fire, hazardous duty, flight pay, tax free and the 10% savings while deployed. 

We frequent Cabo multiple times a year because it's only a 2 hr flight away and the surf and water temps are as good as in the Islands for the most par.

I am a flight attendant and enjoy traveling still so going to new cities to investigate properties is something I will look forward to.
