I did laminate floating floors in some of the units that I could not save with a sander and stain.

. :) and of course lending in CA needs NMLS or BRE Brokers license so you get the drift.. people just do what they want to do.

I was right , a broken neutral on the main feeder .      5 houses  were using electric with no neutral .Floating neutral wire of a broken neutral is a very serious problem

Renting would be hard, I would think you would have to prove the finances to do all the work and cover, insurance, float the business etc..
