@Ceasar Rosas I know about the developement and convienience to the city from the first few stops on the 6 from Manhattan but I am not sure what soundview has to offer that far up on the line as far as the new investment boom in the Bronx.

It had (still does) bad neighborhoods that eventually drew in enough capital to revitalize Atlantic Avenue, Williamsburg and Dumbo because Manhattan got tooooooo expensive.

I've been to Paterson a few times to check on some REO properties that we have listed with my office and don't see the growth in the area that I was expecting to see due to the fact that its not that far outside of Manhattan.

Luckily, I got a job at an asset management company in Manhattan as a software developer, and I will be start working from January next year. 

I'm located in Morris County, about 45 minutes west of Manhattan.

Fast forward a year to present day: My two roommates now work in finance banking in Manhattan, about 2 1/2 hours away and I am the guy on the ground in Albany.

I know you're an advocate of following the train lines which makes a lot of sense with manhattan being so close. 

I live in Manhattan.

I am in Alaska, the property is in Ohio, and my lender was based out of California I think and some pf the people I was working with were throughout the Pacific Northwest.
