Conferences that are industry and area specific might be a little smaller and easier to network with people while on the flip side, the large national conferences have workshops you can attend and tons of vendors to speak with.

They hold monthly workshops and teach you how to evaluate a property for flip, buy and hold or run like heck...

This is a brief synopsis of today's Credit Industry Changes Workshop ...The changes in the credit industry discussed at the workshop today went into effect on June 1st - my mistake: I thought they were coming on July 1st.The bulk of it focuses on a new way in way in which creditors and lenders can look at your credit history.Up until now, your credit report has been only a "snapshot" in time: what was in the credit bureau databases at the time the data were pulled.

And I'm more interested in wholesaling at this time, but the workshop is on The Realities of Rehabbing. 

I went to Jillian Sidoti's (Taylor, Trowbridge & Sidoti) Securities 2 day workshop 3 weeks ago in late Sept.  

They called it a work shop.

I plan to start educating myself there by attending some workshop classes at Home Depot for home improvement (learned about that here on BP).
