Hello All,I am currently an undergraduate at Stonehill College perusing a finance degree and I wanted to ask some people with experience where to start in this business.

I'm in the process of moving in my new home (literally,) and I just took a break to peruse through my messages and ran across your post.  

Announcing something like that will have all sorts of people knocking on your door for your money.Start listening to the podcasts and perusing the forums. 

Most brokers do not have the time to consistently peruse the MLS at all hours of the day, but if you can find the time you may be surprised by the amount of opportunities that are out there.  

I have been listening to the podcast, reading real estate books and perusing BiggerPockets for over a year, trying to absorb as much information as I can - and now I am looking to network more and get to know some people in the industry!

In perusing some other forum posts, experiences seem to be mixed.

I am not familiar with the area as of yet due to my newness but perusing the MLS is at least showing me where the lower priced areas are.I'm currently looking for a C to B- class property in the north charleston, goose creek, moncks corner area.
