You can word something that shows you demand respect, yet at the same time you don't come across hostile and you're even (genuinely) smiling.

You and Steve Lloyd were the speakers at my first REIA meeting and it's been greatly inspiring in my growth since then. 

Dave Van Horn I just watched your podcast on BP and was quite inspired.

I know this all depends on a lot of things but genuinely I feel if the only thing they are doing is bringing a buyer I would pay them a finders fee basically or maybe a certain percentage of the spread.
