Hi Calvin, if is it listed with anyone, it may have a similar address and a realtor posted your address by mistake,This happened to me a few months ago whereby I own a condo in a community that has 3 building and I own A6, but they were trying to list C6 and only added 6 to the MLS listing lol.

Even with tax write-offs, you’re still paying to own this property rather than it paying you.You asked about tax benefits—yes, rental losses can offset other income if you qualify (income limits apply for passive losses), and depreciation helps, but that doesn’t turn a bad deal into a good one.

Cant speak for Nashville, but nationally Redfin recently released a report on their own transactions (they can see both sides of it) that average commissions have risen.This is no surprise to me as I predicted this would happen far in advance of the settlement.
