Is anyone familiar with the pine hills, New scotland, downtown Albany, and center square sections of Albany?

I am a resident of Southern Pines, NC but am interested in investing in Raleigh/ Southern Raleigh area.  

But pine wood is no where near as commercial as Wynwood or midtown.

I just had a lovely 2 bedroom apartment with wide pine floors, open concept, and large rooms with big windows come available.

They are a brand made in Kentucky but I don't remember the name.The coffee bar is an Ikea solid pine unit that cost us $100.

It was actually in Pollock Pines, 1/2 way between Sacramento and Tahoe. 4000 feet elevation, plenty of snow.
