Investing in Albany, NY

Is anyone familiar with the pine hills, New scotland, downtown Albany, and center square sections of Albany? I did some research and they seem like good areas, but I'm looking for more information (a,b,c class neighborhoods, etc.) before i look for investor friendly agents there.  I do not live near Albany.
