I see that you don't have to be a B-Corp to help others but was wondering if you knew any information if it actually is even possible (profitable) with real estate investing because I see most of the few companies that are B-Corps, they tend to me more on the retail or goods aspect of business and can donate a lot of their extra supplies to charities and non-profit groups.

I am still pretty new to REI, but this month I partnered with another investor, and we are establishing a partnership with a local charity organization/church and are establishing a shelter/hand-up establishment for veterans in the first floor of an old hotel that we are renovating.

(I don't know anything about Navy Federal)You can make a $25 donation to certain charities/organizations and become a member at Navy Federal... so no, it's not just military.They will also (apparently) do cash out refi's/HELOCs as a second position on NOO properties... honestly a bit surprised more investors aren't using them... must be some downside I haven't heard about yet.
