With all that said you need to find a trustworthy organization to deal with, this is key to everything as you really need someone to look after the renovations and management. 

They will probably require all the articles of organization and EIN paperwork proving everything is legit.

They talk about that at our ULI meetings which is a great organization to get involved with if you want to learn more about real estate and development in urban areas

@Trevor Crabtree- thanks ....before seraching to hard- if you need to use  financing - get fully pre approved with a lender ..its  free and  easy  and this will educate you /  organize you and  prepare you .

First off there are complanies that do what you want to do currently- buying older homes, fixing up and then reselling.   

Are you sure you are talking about the correct organization?

I recommend a more organic approach of meeting other local investors, genuinely taking an interest in what they're doing, and genuinely trying to help them succeed.
